The Art of Sweeping

Clear your mind and the dojo the first Saturday of every month.

Discover the transformative power of maintaining cleanliness and organization in your surroundings, while simultaneously nurturing positivity, embracing openness, and cultivating mental clarity amidst the demands of daily life. 

Starting June 1, 2024, we’ll be offering meditation and restoration for you and our training space. Join us for meditation, restorative yoga, and soji (ritually cleaning) the first Saturday of every month!

This 30-minute practice will start immediately after Saturday morning class.


Meditation

A rotation-based system, where each month, a different person leads the sessions. Meditation can take various forms: free-form, traditional Zen, silent, or guided with music. Anybody can lead it. Sign up!


Restorative Yoga

As you stretch your mind, stretch your body, too, with a few meditative and restorative yoga poses.


Cleaning

Everybody will help meditatively sweep, dust, and tidy both upstairs and downstairs, including the bathroom.
